Just released this weekend:  English Cricket and Pro Football (covers American Football).  Both of these use RSS feeds to find images and news stories to present with an appropriate level of OpenGL bling.  Both are free and provide a dynamic wallpaper experience for sports fans.  For a small fee (99c for Pro Football and 50p for English Cricket), upgrade to get control over data usage and a lot of options for the animations and backgrounds.
